Meet Willow, a spunky little girl with lots of ideas! We think she's part heeler/cattle dog, with those great ears and the cute speckling on her chest and feet. She's 10 months old and currently weighs about 30 pounds, so while she's not done growing, she's going to stay around 45 pounds full grown.
Willow is still a puppy, so she has that adorable puppy energy - always busy and exploring! She is a smart cookie and you can tell she is getting ideas and learning by watching everything you do. With her high energy and smarts she needs a home with good mental stimulation and lots of exercise, she would do well with another playful dog-loving dog. She is eager to please and will be your best friend if you let her. She is vocal and will tell you what she thinks of things. She is doing well with potty training so far. She is also quickly learning sit and lay down and wait.
Willow can be a bit apprehensive about strangers both humans and dogs at first, but warms up pretty quickly. She is a bit nervous at first with new dogs so will need proper introductions and some space, time, and lots of praise to adjust. She plays well with other dogs once she is comfortable. She is a bit wary of cats too but we think with time might be okay with a confident cat. She's a very curious girl, and will go on walkabouts on her own if she can, so you must have a 6 foot privacy fence!
Willow is currently in board and train at K9 Ranch Leasure Academy in Byers. She knows all of her commands and has really blossomed!
We know she is ready to warm someone's heart and be a lifetime best friend!
