VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

1. I am over the age of 18 years.*

2. It is my intention to perform voluntary services without compensation for Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc.*

3. I understand that some volunteer activities involve work that may be hazardous to me, including working with animals, lifting and carrying supplies, and transportation to and from volunteer opportunities. I hereby expressly and specifically assume the risk of injury or harm in the activities and release Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue from all liability for injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from the activities.*

4. I understand that I am not eligible for Workers' Compensation Benefits in the event of injury, and I will not, under any circumstances, receive any other type of compensation. I understand that, as a volunteer, my personal insurance, including health, automobile, and liability insurance, are in effect while acting within the scope and course of my assigned volunteer duties and I understand that no insurance is provided by Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc.*

5. I hereby irrevocably authorize Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. to use, reproduce, or publish any and all photographs or videotapes of me, which may be taken during my participation in a volunteer event, for any purpose, without compensation to me.*

I HEREBY FOREVER RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT TO HOLD HARMLESS Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. (“SDPPR”) (and its Officers, Board of Directors, Volunteers, Affiliated Entities and/or Agents), their heirs, administrators, executors, successors and Assigns, from any and all liability, claims, damages, costs, expenses, loss of services, actions and causes of action, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that I may have against Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc. (and/or its Officers, Board of Directors, Volunteers, Affiliated Agencies and/or Agents), arising in any way from my volunteer activities with Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue, Inc.
