Whitney is the fluffiest little girl who is ready for her forever family to find her. She looks like a miniature husky as she’s 16 weeks old and about 10-15lbs now (possibly growing to 30-35 lb range).
Whitney has endured a lot in her few months of life; most notably a broken leg from a dog attack and the resulting splinting and cage rest for 8wks while healing. But she hasn’t let that slow her down! Whitney is ready for her family to help her learn and grow! Her break was near a growth plate so her leg may never be one hundred percent perfect but with continued strengthening and future weight management we expect her be able to participate in most life can offer!
She’s a playful puppy who is a bit unsure of larger dogs at first but now she enjoys wrestling with the gentle big dogs in her foster home.
Whitney loves people and children but does submissively piddle with nerves and excitement. She has shown improvement in this as her confidence builds.
Whitney will need continued training that comes with raising a puppy; reinforcing house training, appropriate chewing and biting, and learning good dog manners. She walks well on a leash and sleeps all night in her crate in her foster’s bedroom.
She’s currently living with cats and just wonders why they don’t want to play with her.
Whitney is ready for her happy ending; are you ready to help her find it? Apply today!
