Haru/Sara is a 4 month old 32 pound female mixed breed pup. Both of her ears stick straight up now in the cutest way. Haru is happy to go off exploring on her own but always checks back with us. We think She has great potential for training as she is confident and always checking in with her people. She has learned to communicate with her fosters by coming and sitting in front of them if she wants something… to be let out or a treat or to be petted. She loves playing with the fosters' young adult dogs. She’s a smart independent thinker. She is crate trained and like many puppies her age still needs work on potty training. Haru is growing quickly. She’s a great fun loving puppy. She is friendly and enjoys being with people. She likes going to soccer games and wishes she could chase the ball but is happy to lay next to fosters and chew her toys. She likes other dogs and wants to greet all of the dogs she sees but she’s not quite able to do that yet as she needs her final vaccinations. Her new favorite activity is emptying the entire box of toys one at a time. She will toss them in the air and chase them, or take one and chew on it for awhile and then get another, sometimes she will place them in different spots in the room. But better than toys, Haru loves attention, being petted and loved on. She is 80% potty trained. She is fond of water (but not the rain), and she is working on learning about a collar and leash, and some simple foundations for learning commands. She will be a great dog for variety of families especially one that wants the devotion of a dog who loves with her whole heart.
