Meet Rip, an 8-month-old male Border Collie with a striking appearance and a heart of gold. Rip is already well-versed in several commands and is eager to learn more. He may be shy at new faces, likely due to limited exposure to visitors in his previous environment, but once he warms up to you, he is incredibly affectionate.
Rip seems to be housebroken and spent a comfortable night in a crate in our bedroom. He walks well on a leash and responds to commands such as sit, down, stay, and shake. His mellow temperament and sharp intelligence make him a wonderful companion for the right person. As with any border collie, Rip has a lot of energy, so you will need to be very active, or have a good-sized, fenced yard.
