Hi I'm Reese and no one needs you more than I need you!
So many Scroungy pups have faced more challenges than any dog should and Reese is no exception. And like the brave girl that she is, she hasn't given up and is making tremendous socialization progress. Every day, she is braver than the day before. She's eating well and learning how to "go potty" outside. She loves to play in the grass and chase balls. She'll quietly spend time in her crate, even though it's a scary place for her because she wants so much to be a good dog. Her favorite places are in your lap or snuggled beside you on the couch or in a bed next to you.
She does well with other dogs but will also do well as a solo. She's not been tested with cats but we think she will do well. She would do well in a one-person household -- because you WILL BE HER PERSON. She has a strong preference for women but is learning that men can be trusted. Households with older children will be better for her. It will take time for her to learn that she's safe in her fur-ever family home. She's eager to please and learn, all she needs is just a little patience.
