Meet Foxy! This BEAUTIFUL medium sized girl is looking for her forever family. Foxy has the softest coat and a striking blue eye (part heeler? husky?). She does have a husky shaped face, but not the thick husky coat, and she's only about 45 pounds (full grown!). She is built more like a heeler. The shelter guessed her to be about 3, but we're pretty sure that's not correct, and she is somewhere between 1 and 2, she's very playful and very puppy-like!
Foxy has spent some time in a Board and Train, where she learned basic commands and to walk well on a leash, as well as to be comfortable in a crate. She knows sit, down, come and heel. Her current foster says she hasn't had any accidents in the house when taken out regularly. She's still working on the crate thing, and being left alone, so she will need a patient owner to teach her that she won't be abandoned again! She'll reward you with lots of cuddles and hugs and kisses - she really loves people! She is the smartest dog, and learns so quickly!
Foxy is a really sweet dog, gentle with children, and playful with other dogs, and she loves to cuddle! She has been good with some cats, but we do not recommend a household with cats, unless you are very experienced in training around this.
