This is little Dorothy and she's trying to find her way home! She has met some incredible friends along her brick road, just like other rescue babies: the shelter that took her in, this rescue that brought her here, the volunteer vets & staff that cared for her, and the fosters who say yes. It takes a village to rescue puppies, but the most important one is YOU, because there's no place like home for every puppy!
She is 12 weeks old, 16 lbs, will likely be medium size when grown, has a short and very soft coat, and loves being petted and cuddled. Enjoys her toys, plays with and is respectful of other dogs; likes the chickens and cat but has not gotten too close. This pup is alert, bright eyed, and very smart. No accidents in the house! She's doing well with crate training, sleeping well through the night, and loves everyone and everything. No leash training yet but she sure enjoys the fenced yard and exploring.
