Meet DENVER, a cheerful and playful terrier? heeler? border collie? mix puppy! This adorable pup currently weighs 26 lbs. and is estimated to be around 8-10 months old. Denver is a true bundle of energy and always wears a joyful expression, constantly wagging his tail.
While Denver is a delightful companion, he does require supervision indoors as he is still in the early stages of housetraining. He has an independent streak and often prefers playing on his own, yet he always remains close by. Denver has been getting along well with his foster's dogs, and shows little interest in the cats who wisely keep their distance. Denver has not been introduced to children yet.
Denver is in the early stages of crate training as well. Although he sleeps in a crate next to his foster's bed at night and receives all his meals inside, he will need continued work with this to make him feel safe and comfortable.
Denver would do best in a family with an active lifestyle who have an abundance of love and understanding to help him adjust. Denver will require additional training and patience as he continues to grow and learn how to live his best life as a member of a loving household.
