Meet COSMO, a resilient, super sweet 3ish year old male dog on a remarkable journey of recovery. Cosmo arrived at a shelter in Texas covered in ticks, scabs and scars, and very malnourished. We think he had been on his own for some time! He weighs about 15 pounds.
Cosmo has made significant progress - his scabs have healed, his scars are fading, and he now finds joy in bath time. Finally embracing his inner canine, he eagerly engages in play with his foster's other dogs and has developed a fondness for toys. Cosmo is undoubtedly a loyal companion, sticking close to his foster's side. He loves to snuggle and enjoys a good belly rub!
Cosmo comfortably roams the house while his fosters are at work and has mastered the use of a doggy door. Cosmo would do best in a home without small children, however, another dog companion would be a welcome addition to his life.
