Meet Alfie!! This 4 month old, 18lb, half naked little lover boy wants nothing more than to adore you, please you, and wiggle his little bum for you.
He's got the puppy energy, he's got the hops (that we're working on), he's got the appetite, and he loves to play with his foster’s dogs!
Alfie is a smart guy who is really receptive to training, doing well with house training, good in a kennel, and improving his pulling during walks. Since he is such a lover, Alfie does struggles a bit with separation anxiety.
He wants to be in your lap and would crawl inside your skin if that was an option. We're working on boundaries and breaking our 'me first out the door' mentality.
We're not sure what mix of breeds he is - maybe some wirehair pointer or schnauzer or a labradoodle experiment gone awry - regardless, he has so so much love to give!
Alfie would be great in an active family with other dogs or as a solo dog (provided enough attention). He hasn't met a cat, but he did see our neighbor's next door and acted entirely uninterested.
He's recovering well from demodectic mange (he is receiving treatment and it is not contagious), so lately Alfie's favorite hobby is sunning his booty on the patio while his hair grows back.
