Meet Sweetie, the adorable 1-year-old female mixed breed seeking a forever home filled with love and understanding. From mastering stairs to getting to know mirrors and TVs, she's been fearlessly tackling ever new experience. While she was timid upon arrival at her foster home, she now confidently greets new people, shedding her habit of tucking her tail and appearing small.
While Sweetie has her quirks, like a strict no-no to moving trash cans (only the big ones outside!), she's proving to be a delightful and quiet companion. She is also housebroken and crate trained. Playtime brings out her energetic side, transforming her into a playful pup resembling a friendly velociraptor. Her foster is diligently working on curbing playful nips by redirecting her enthusiasm towards toys. This may make her suited better for a home with older children. It took a little time, but now she eagerly enjoys play sessions and even relishes belly rubs. Her affable nature extends to both dogs and cats; she lights up in the company of other canines and maintains a respectful curiosity towards feline friends.
