Scroungy Dogs and Pretty Pups Rescue is a 100% volunteer, foster-based rescue. Our wonderful fosters provide a safe, comfortable alternative to shelters. Fosters provide love and a warm home for our rescued dogs, bring them to our adoption events, and provide useful information to potential adopters about their habits and personalities.  This all makes it easier for our rescued dogs to be best matched with their forever families.

We provide all food, supplies, and medical care for our rescue dogs while they are in their foster homes.  Most of our dogs are adopted within 1-4 weeks of their arrival.

Fostering can be one of the most rewarding experiences in rescue. Our fosters are a community of wonderful people, passionate about saving lives, and who support one another through a community fostering Facebook page (not yet set up) and at adoption events.
