Meet Dori (formally Dolores), a Belgian Malinois mix, spayed female.
Our vet thinks she between 3 & 4 years old and in good health (though her shelter paperwork says 5 yrs). Being your typical Mal, she is ball crazy and could play for hours! If it even looks like a ball, it’s a ball.
Dori is a sweet girl who loves all people! She is great with kids, but is a door dasher, so will need to be watched when people are entering or leaving the house. She will need additional training and lots of exercise. She definitely needs work with learning to walk nicely on a leash.
Her ideal fur-ever family needs to have an understanding of her breed and what it entails to keep her happy. Activities such as dog agility, dog dock diving, scent tracking, etc. would keep your new best friend physically and mentally stimulated. She needs both a good amount of physical exercise and brain work to keep her happy. A home with a yard is a must for this active, happy girl!
